For this assignment, I choose Legionella bacteria for the autobiography. I am a part of the Legionellae, which is a family of bacteria. I am a gram-negative bacillus and enclosed in a protective capsule. This capsule helps prevent white blood cells. My color varies with the condition if I am present as a micro-colony, so my color is green. I am aerobic bacteria because I cannot live with oxygen. On the contrary, my color should be red if I appear as a pneumophila micro-colonies. However, I prefer to live in Stagnant water, particularly if they are at a good temperature, such as 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, because I cannot tolerate the elevated temperature. The reason is that Stagnant water favors the growth of legionellae. I have the ability to multiply the nutrients if I have a temperature between 20 to 24 degrees.
